In 2011, 64 students from Conifer, Evergreen, and Clear Creek High Schools applied for assistance. Thanks to our fundraising efforts and generous community support, we were able to award more than $160,000 to 46 graduating seniors and continuing college students. More than half of our applicants planned to attend public colleges and universities in Colorado. However, Bootstraps awards can be used at any school in the country.
Bootstraps donors, recipients and volunteers are your friends and neighbors. If you are already a donor, we thank you wholeheartedly for your support. If this is the first time you are considering a gift, we promise to represent you well and to make sure every dollar you contribute makes a difference in the education of deserving young people in our community.
Your help is needed for us to continue our worthwhile mission. There are a number of ways to participate. Cash donations in any amount are always welcome. It is also possible for you to participate in our “Create a Scholarship”, “Create a Loan” or "Planned Giving" programs. Thank you in advance for helping some extraordinary students in your community pull themselves up by the bootstraps.
