Dear Bob,
First, thank you to our many donors. Without your loyal financial support to Bootstraps, we would not have been able to provide fifty-six students with over $120,000 in funding this year.
Second, thank you to our volunteers. Bootstraps has two major fund-raisers this August and without each of you, we could not do it.
Lastly, thank you to our student recipients. Your stories and accomplishments inspire us and keep all of us committed to Bootstraps' mission to provide scholarships and interest-free loans to mountain area students.
Did you know? Bootstraps was founded in 1945. We are sixty-five years old this year. In 1946 two $150 scholarships were awarded.
Since 2003, we have given over $1.2 million in scholarships and loans to students in our communities. What an amazing tribute to our donors, volunteers, and students.
Best regards,
Erik Pedersen and Mary Twombly Co-Presidents |
