We asked our recipients how they are handling the stay at home order and to tell us something positive that has happened because of the pandemic.

To pass the time, I’ve been taking my dogs on walks about three times a day. I moved back up to Wyoming into my sister’s house and have been organizing the food cabinets, cleaning. The most positive thing that has happened to me since the virus is how much time I’ve been able to spend with my dad and dogs, along with the fact that my chemistry professor has been generous enough to cancel our cumulative final! |

One positive thing with regard to COVID-19 is that I have learned how to incorporate massive change into my life. One of my classes is a Foreign Global Experience (FGX) [for which] I was initially going to travel to Copenhagen and consult with a Danish company on an issue they needed to address. As a result, I am learning how to continue this project when I face barriers such as the trip portion being cancelled. |
