Benjamin Yerks credits his involvement with a local theatre company for helping him overcome his shyness and fear of public speaking. He is attending the University of Colorado Boulder where he is majoring in forensic science. Ben played tennis all four years at Conifer High School and appeared in several performances at Stage Door Theatre. He has a twin sister who is also a Bootstraps scholar.
